Awards and Recognitions

UAESP recognizes outstanding principals with yearly awards. Award winners are nominated by their peers in such areas as Special Contributor to UAESP, Human Resource Developer of the Year, Instructional Leader of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Innovator of the Year, and Community Leader of the Year. An annual National Distinguished Principal award is also given in conjunction with the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and the U.S. Department of Education.
