Publications Principal Magazine Principal is NAESP's award-winning magazine written by and for K-8 principals. It is published in September, November, January, March, and May each year. Members of NAESP can access all articles in each publication along with those archived by logging in as a member on the NAESP site. Click on the Principal link on the side bar to access the Principal site and log in. State Publications “The Leader” is published two times a year, in the Fall and Spring. This magazine attempts to capture trends in education and the latest news on education and related issues for our Utah schools. The UAESP leaders urge members to submit articles on programs and practices that work in our schools and also manuscript-like articles on educational topics. Articles on successful projects or research in progress, etc. are strong encouraged – share what is going on in your schools and district. Submissions are accepted year round and are reviewed to see where they fit with selected themes. Specifications: Articles should be no longer than 2,000 words (or 2 pages singled spaced). Articles can be submitted via email as a Microsoft Word attachment or mailed on a disk. A photograph of you (the author) must accompany all articles.
